We have a passion for sustainability and restoration, which runs through every aspect of our little pub. Using reclaimed materials combines the old & the new, creating a unique character that’s unlike anywhere else.
The warm and cosy space is built for socialising, with tons of space and comfy seats. Inside, sit in the front in a relaxed dining atmosphere, which is the perfect place to grab a cheeky cocktail. Or, choose to head ‘behind the arch’ to the entertainment area for live music, sports, or the weekly pub quiz. Finally, you can visit the outside terrace to enjoy al fresco dining. A secluded quiet space, with protection for when the weather rains.
We’re sitting in the perfect place on the corner of Streatham Common. Just a short walk from both Streatham and Streatham Common stations. The Mere Scribbler is a part of the South London independent operator, Livelihood. It continues the ethos of authenticity, sustainability & having tons of fun. The front of the pub is reserved for casual dining, with comfy seats and a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy. You can head to the back of the pub, ‘behind the arch’ for the entertainment area.
