Streatham bank holiday: Come on down to The Mere Scribbler this August bank holiday for Cut Rum’s Carnival on Saturday 27th August, with live music, free drinks & tons of fun starting from 2pm.

Think carnival vibes, upbeat live music & a hell of a lot of (free) rum punch. Dancing is optional, but definitely encouraged! We’ll also have bottomless brunch available until 4pm for you to indulge in. Head outside to enjoy a carnival atmosphere in our newly renovated garden, or stay inside the pub to reap the benefits of air conditioning & be from & centre for the live music!

Cut Rum Carnival – The Low Down 

At The Mere Scribbler we’re open from 10am, with the kitchen open from 11am just in time for brunch! You can even add bottomless drinks for £25pp & choose from Aperol Spritz, Rose, bubbles, bellinis or Bloody Good Marys. Take a look at our brunch menu here. Bottomless brunch is available until 4pm, with a finishing time of 5:30pm.

Brunch will be sound tracked by the sweet sounds of live music, featuring reggae, ska, old school r&b & of course all the classics! We’ll also have a FREE rum punch available for the first 50 people to arrive from 2pm. We’ve even got a special bank holiday cocktail menu courtesy of Cut Rum, full of classics & new tipples to try.
