Streatham pubs: The Mere Scribbler is a cosy addition to Streatham Common, with a gorgeous sun-filled terrace, comfortable interiors and a welcoming team. You can find us here on Google Maps, and we’re just a short walk from both Streatham and Streatham Common train stations.
The warm, cosy space is perfect for socialising with big comfy benches and tons of space ‘behind the arch’ for entertaining. Firstly, inside you can sit in the front area for a relaxed dining atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to grab a drink and catch up with friends, or enjoy a delicious meal fresh from our kitchen. Then, head ‘behind the arch’ to the entertainment area for tons of stuff. We’ve got live music, sports every day, and even a weekly pub quiz. Finally, you can head outside into our garden to enjoy some al fresco dining. It’s a quiet space, secluded from the hustle and bustle of Streatham Common.

Our kitchen is open from Tuesday-Sunday, from lunchtime until 10pm. So there’s plenty of time for you to pop in and sample our wide-ranging menu. We serve brunch, lunch, dinner, and everything in between. Everything is cooked fresh by our fabulous chefs, serving up elevated comfort food with a twist. Choose from dishes like juicy chicken burgers, Korean chicken bites and even french onion mac & cheese. Take a look at our menus to take your pick.
In addition, our drinks menu is just jam-packed! There’s everything you could want from craft beers on tap, locally made gins and lively twists on classic cocktails. Not forgetting about a whole host of great low and no-alcohol options!
